The performance of the song by Harshvardhan Kapoor and Yami Gautam was well received and lauded. The song also won for Best Male Performance and Best Dance Performance, while Harshvardhan Kapoor and Yami Gautam won the MTV Movie Award for Best Kiss at the event which was held on 30 April 2015.
